    I received my Titleist 917D3 Driver this passed Wed. I love it. I attended the club fitting Sat. in September at Clear Creek Golf Club in Bristol, Va. Casey Barnes and His staff were very helpful in my selection of the correct shaft and setting up my Driver. I am looking forward to next year [ and the rest of this golf season ] using my new Driver. The guys I play with do not know that I have a New Driver. This Driver has the same shaft that my 910D3 has. I wonder how long it will take the guys to notice.

    I have played 3 rounds with my 917 D3 driver. I went through the Titleist Thursday fitting before I ordered it. I have hit 10 of 14 fairways on all 3 rounds. Even my misses don't miss by as much. The roll out is good as opposed to my other Titleist drivers I have had in the past. Great job Titleist and thank you Jim for fitting me at the Titleist Thursday.

    I have one full round in and a couple 4 hole trips with my D3. I've had some of the best drives of my year, and like you I am noticing a good amount of roll.

    I attribute that to my fitter getting me in the right head and shaft to reduce spin.
