    Hello guys and gals!

I'm currently gaming the the 915FD 15*, with the D+ 80s. Which without a doubt the best fairway I've played by a mile, BUT, the 917F3 seems to be really creating a buzz on every forum I've read.

My question is about the size 915FD vs. 917F3. It seems cc wise the 917F3 is touch larger cc wise (I believe...?). Either way, if it is, or the same I'm fine with. My main curiosity is about face depth. Is the 917F3 deeper, the same or shallower than the 915FD?

Really hoping someone can contribute (comparison pics would be super helpful as well!!!!)

I have enclosed a view of the two clubs, but you can go to the top of this page and click on "clubs" and check out both of the fairway metals. It might give you some answers.

    Hey Chuck,

Thanks much appreciated. I have checked out the stock pics quite a bit. I guess I meant in hand pics side by side or even better yet a pic of both faces in one pic.

Unfortunately the 2 golf shops we have in town, neither carry Titleist clubs in stock to see real world comparisons. Titleist website lists the F3 at 169cc which I believe is slightly larger than the 915FD. I was curious if the head is just larger now front to back. Also if the face depth is the same as the 915FD, or a touch deeper, or shallower?
  5. Well I can tell you first hand as of today.
They have to be almost identical.
I looked at them side by side and every way you could thing of and I can't see much difference. The sole of the new F3 is just a touch different. But overall I couldn't tell.

I think the new color plays some tricks in the pictures.

I will say that the F3 sounds just awesome
And I thought the FD sounded good!

Go out and try it man you won't be disappointed!

Thanks very much for the reply.

I'd love to definitely test them but unfortunately the 2 golf shops where I live, a Dick's Sporting Goods but they don't carry Titleist (or png). The other one, a small mom and pop shop is basically order only, never current demo clubs except like a single AP2 stock stiff 7 iron.
