It took me most of the years but this month I completed a complete bag overhaul to all 14 Titleist clubs.

Each one is fantastic and has helped my game in all areas. 5 months ago I was a 26 handicap and on Nov 1 an 18.3. Still a lot of work to do to accomplish a goal. But I'm confident these clubs will help get me there in 2017.

A big thanks to the Team Titleist community for sharing all your knowledge and experiences. It was a big help in the process.

Nice looking set-up Robert. Keep working on your game and you can accomplish whatever goals you set.

Hello Robert C, I couldn't be happier for you. I have been trying to fill my Titleist cart bag with all Titleist clubs for three years. Two teenagers slow things down. Dad first, golfer second. Enjoy your new clubs. I'll get there one of these days.
    Play Well,

Awesome Bag Robert! All Titleist FTW! How are you liking the 917? I'm still gaming the the 915 but I hit the 917 the other day and I'm sold and ready to make that upgrade!

    Best,
    Sean

Thanks Sean. I like the 917 a lot so far. I went through a pretty thorough fitting for it at the Pinehurst Academy after the Team Titleist event. it definitely paid off, as I was fit for setup I would never have considered.

It's the D3 9.5 with the Diamana Red 50g in Stiff My 913 was 10.5 and regular flex. I thought I had too slow of SS high mid to high 80's for a stiff, but the fitter explained it's more than just swing speed.

This combo brought my spin down from the high 3000's to around 2400 and added 10 yards of carry and 22 yards total over the previous setup, which I fit myself for at the range.

For me it was definitely worth the upgrade, glad you like your initial trial with it. I would encourage to go to Titleist Thursday or at the very least a certified Titleist fitter if possible, they really know how to look deep into everything and find what works for you.

Congratulations! Excellent decision. Once I switched to a full Titleist bag I never looked back, and 11 years later can't imagine playing any other brand. I think the confidence in my clubs transfers to my swing and knowing I have the best setup for my game removes those areas of doubt.

It seems to me people who play all Titleist are pretty passionate about their equipment and the game. For me, my clubs aren't just tools to use but something I appreciate aesthetically as "working art". This is probably bad for Titleist, I held onto my last set of 690.cb irons for an awfully long time - it felt weird when I first loaded my new 716cb's into my bag. I did apologize to them and tell them they are still loved... lol Case in point.

    Best to you!

    -M.

Looks good. I just need to switch out my driver and then my all Titleist bag will be complete. Have to pay for my wedding first though which will probably slow down that process for a while.

So Robert, when are we going to tee it up at Worthington Manor together? If we do, our cart will be 100% Titleist. There's still great golf left in November (and hopefully, December). You gotta get those babies some experience before winter.

Doug...I was talking to some friends yesterday about playing either Worthington or Musket Ridge this Sunday. It'd be great to get out with you and of course put the new setup through another test.

I'm hesitant to post personal info in a public forum, and since there isn't a Private Message capability here. You can do the following. Go to the website of Compass Pointe Golf Course (the Maryland one, not the NC one..ha) my info is listed on the contact us tab.

Hoping we can sync up a round out there.

Awesome bag and equipment, Robert. A great set of clubs helps the game a lot and being fitted properly is step one. There is an old saying and I truly believe in it. It is normally the Indian, not the arrow. Pat yourself on the back on this accomplishment. The arrows can be the best but if the Indian cannot aim and shoot them then they are no good at all. Great job. Chuck.......

Thanks for the kind words Chuck. I too--regrettably--at times do admit it is often the Indian, but having new and shiny bow and arrows never hurt..LOL

Great looking setup Robert! I agree that a full Titleist bag is the way to go. Congratulations on bringing your handicap down over the last year and good luck on continuing the downward trend. Enjoy the new clubs!

Great setup. I spent most of last year transitioning my bag to Titleist and haven't looked back.

So True. Our local Titleist rep was by today and he thanked me for supporting the brand so much. I said that is nice to hear, but no thanks really needed when the stuff just works so well.

I'm sitting here now in my office just staring at the bag figuring out if I have time to get 9 holes in today...LOL
