  1. Hi, just purchased a standard set of AP2 716 irons from a UK pro shop on eBay.

Upon inspection the clubs look great but I am concerned that there is no serial number stamped on the hosel of any of the clubs, including the 6 iron.

There was a label on the 6 iron with the Titkeist UK address and a serial number but I wondered, do Titleist still stamp the hosel on irons?

Any comments / replies will really be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Gary

Hi, Each country is different and may or may not stamp the hosel with a serial number. Since you purchased it new from a Pro shop, it is probably just fine, but you can check with our UK Office at: UKConsumer@Acushnetgolf.com
  3. Hi, the pro at my club recently sent my 716 ap2 irons back to titleist due the paint coming off the back of several irons, I've received them back with brand new heads which I'm extremely pleased about, however none of the new heads seem to have a serial number stamped on them, is this correct?

Hi, If you are in the US, please have your pro set up a Warranty inspection - there should be a serial number stamped on at least the 6 iron.
  5. I am in Singapore. Used Ap2 710 and 714. Just sold off my 710 and got an used AP2 716 off my friend. It looks legit, with the 4iron still unused, in plastic wrap. However there is no serial number on any of the clubs,
He got it from a private pro shop.
Therefore my question is that , for Singapore or Malaysia, is it legit or original?
  6. I have a serial no. on my six iron only!

Were these brand new? You didn't actually say. I've seen refurbished irons made to look nearly new and the serial number can be rubbed out pretty easily.
