Has anyone tried both the current TM-B model as well as the previous one? I was wondering what the major difference between the two models are? Any feedback would be great!

    Ryan,

I have a whole TM-B set. 4-9 iron. They are so very easy on the eyes and have a great feel.

Hi Ryan -- this is the first season that the T-MB's have been available in the US. A previous generation model was available in Japan but, not in the US. The longer irons (2-3) seem to have replaced the 712 Utility Irons ...so that would probably be the best for comparison sake given that their intended purposes as driving irons, etc. would be the same.

They are on the AP2 platform. Just a more appealing club for the blade lovers. Really a forgiving club that provides feedback.

    Grindelwald,

to me the sound of the T-MB is better compared to the 712U
They are both great clubs with good forgiveness

Performance is more iron-like than the 712u (which was still an excellent golf club). I found the 712u to be more forgiving across the face but the T-MB offers a much wider shot selection.

They're a terrific compliment to any other Titleist iron.
