New 716 AP1

    Traded in my cally XR for the 716 AP1 4- GW with stiff shafts. The feel is great! Nicest irons I have ever owned, really looking forward to warmer weather as I have 12 Pro V1X to hit!

    I agree, I started playing the AP1 in October, and just sold my CF16's!! The only thing that might replace these will be the 818 AP2's if they come out as expected in the fall.

    Mean the 718? :) Yup, around Fall time we'll start hearing about the next line but I think I'm pretty good for a while.. At least that's what my wife tells me...

    I have the 716 AP1s 6-W and agree it's a fantastic club. Got fitted and it's been a blast playing these irons... Enjoy and great choice MB!

    LOL.. Thanks, Yep, I did mean 718, my fingers were working faster than my mind!

    Oh, and I'm good as well with theses, but it's hard to resist anything new and shiny...HA

    Thanks guys, happy to be here. I'm very jealous of the weather. It's -15 here...luckily there is an indoor driving range.

    I have been thinking of swapping my AP1 714, which I really like, for the 716. Anyone here did this upgrade, and is there a noticeable and worthwhile improvement in performance between them?
