While at the TT Invitational this year I accidentally stepped on the toe of my 915D2 and put multiple scratches on it. Tried using yacht wax/polish on it to remove the mess I had made but did not work. Did not affect the performance but did not look it's best. Well I guess there really is a Santa Claus. A friend of mine recently purchased the new 917D2 and I had offered to purchase the 915D2 head from him because it was exactly like mine when he purchased and had pretty much forgotten about it. Yesterday he approached me and asked if I still wanted the head and said yes and how much do you want and he said, nothing, it is yours. Enjoy it. Virginia, there really is a Santa. Titleist traditionalists do take care of one another. I was overwhelmed and at a loss of words, but did not forget to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH, YOU ARE VERY KIND. All he wanted was to keep his shaft. =)
