I was fitted into the hybrid 816 with the fujikura motore 8.8hb stiff flex, but to me it's very stiff! 86 grams and 2.5 torque with low flight and low spin!! Looking for something a little softer, but the dispersion is excellent, just to low a flight!!

What is the specs on the same shaft in a regular such as weight and torque? Titleist does offer it!! I was fitted into the 917 driver and f2 three wood in the rogue max 65 and 75 and love them, but the rogue max hybrid was to loose for dispersion, therefore fitted into the motore 8.8!!

    Thanks for your help!

The weight and torque specs for that shaft are almost identical between the R and S flex. One of the contributors for the lower ball dispersion is the 2.5° torque spec. I think you could try on of the Diamara shafts to add some launch, but generally the two factors that determine launch are club loft and angle of attack.

Thanks for the response 19hole!! The 2017 catalog just came out and updated the motore hybrid shaft and the regular weight is 82 compared to 86 on stiff shaft!!

I would think the torque would be a little higher than 2.5! I'm going to try it out, I want it to play like a iron for par 3's, but enough height to land soft and dispersion is excellent which I want!! It's the 23 degree, so plays like a 4 iron, I could add 1 degree of loft to 24 degrees which I might try!! Thanks again!!
