Spring Fever has struck in Wisconsin!!! In anticipation for the upcoming golf season, I went to my local golf shop to get fitted for a new driver. I was greeted by very friendly staff who asked all of the pertinent get to know you and your game questions. The club fitter smiled when I told him I was looking for a 917 D2 and immediately stated, "You're going to love this club". He couldn't have been more right, after multiple shaft changes and adjustments made to the loft/lie angles we agreed that a 10.5* 60g Diamana S flex was the best for me. I'm curious to see how the ball flight come spring and summer when I've been swinging more frequently. Currently, I have the SureFit setting in the D-2 position with a neutral cg weight. My question for the forum is, Has anyone experienced the need to make adjustments to these settings as the season progresses? If so, do you recommend making one small change at a time?

Congrats on your purchase, I love mine. I currently play mine in the A1 position with weight in toe. I read somewhere that you should try all the options on the range and then dial it in to the setting that best suits your swing.

LOL - must be the flu. I still have over 6 inches of snow cover. I was fit last fall on the Pro-V1x (now prior generation). Still haven't had a chance to use it with the new Pro-V1, so I may adjust the loft one setting. Not expecting a real chance to find out until I get to San Diego in April. Never made more changes than that to the previous 913.
