Practiced the other day at a range with old, worn out rangeballs, and one of the made a minor scratch in my F3.

Wondering if anyone has the color code for the 917 woods.

  2. To me they are tools. I stop worrying about the finish once I get a few marks in them. Even if you do find a color match, it won't match really. Normal play and range time will affect most of any paint finish especially soles on any club. That area takes most of the punishment.

Are you referring the crown, or face?

Clubs are expensive, plain and simple. Even if you only have the headcover off when hitting, things can happen so finding a touch up paint or a marker that matches the head color is a great question and one I'd like to know.

You can try this site, seems they have color matches for quite a few models of Titleist. I have not tried them yet, but I intend to since my 3 wood needs some love.
