That being said, as soon as you deviate from the standard setting favoring the draw or fade setting the shaft would be rotated one way or the other which means it wouldn't be in a PUREd anymore. I believe you would have to decide on the setting and it then would be PUREd for that set up.

I agree with everyone else. If you align it in the desired setting than when installed it's fine but like mentioned if it's moved in the settings the spine/PURE'ing is then "useless" (not really though in my opinion). Maybe 10 years ago PURE'ing a shaft was much important. Honestly now every OEM'S uses aftermarket shafts as a stock offerings and not "made for shafts". And the tolerances of shafts by Mitsubishi, Aldila, Matrix ect. are much better now than back then when spine aligning/PURE'ing "may" have made a difference, plus the drivers weren't adjustable so these processes made sense.
