I recently purchased a new number 17 Fairway metal and was just checking to see if the wai I recently purchased a new number 17 Fairway metal and was just checking to see if the cylindrical wait was in so I unscrewed it and when I sought I was there I screwed it back in. Just wanted to know if there was some sort of noise or indication that I screwed up I can on the way thanks

    You should hear a click when it's in all the way.

    Did you use a Titleist wrench to remove and re-tighten? It is a torque wrench that clicks when the proper tightening is applied. If you don't have one, call Titleist. They only are routinely delivered with drivers. Sadly, even if you cross-thread it, eventually the proper torque will be applied.

    Use the wrench and tighten it until it clicks.
