I play with titleist mb 716 irons. I have felt my turf interaction was less than what i read about on these irons. I happened to pick up a magnetic telecope type tool you pick up metal screws with. Out of curiosity i attached to face of my irons to show what my club face direction was... Wow, what i thought was a square clubface i was actually closed and pointing left. The pointer confirmed this. I tried readjusting my grip to a true square position next round out. It was very uncomfortable as this has been ingrained for years.. Low and behold that titleist "click" is back with the true bounce doing what it is supposed to do. Gained some distance too. Uncomfortable as hell but am going to work on it. So i highly recommend this tip to check you true alignment.. Heck could be my crooked eyes.. Lol

Went to see my Master Instructor (Head Pro) a number of weeks ago regarding my ball going off target. He put me on Trackman and within less than thirty minutes he had my problem corrected. Was 6 degrees off plane left side and 7 degree on right side. Moved the alignment sticks and my grip and had me hitting the ball -1* on plane each side. Have been working on his corrections and has definitely help my game. It is amazing what your professionals can do for you also. Support your local pros and see them when things are right. With respect.
