It happens...Happens to a lot of clubs. Just normal wear and tear as the ground hits the paint (or bag chatter). You can use acetone to get the rest off and then use any color acrylic outdoor paint you want to fill in. I do it every year a different color for some showmanship but will last a few years if you dont want to paint every off season. Hope it helps!

The paint on my titleist irons always eventually wears off but I have always attributed that to hitting off mats so much. But January seems too recent for the paint to wear away so quickly

I too have the same issue on my 716 AP1s I got last summer. I have used a blk sharpie to fill in the color, but it doesn't last....
  5. I would not worrie, clean with alcohol and apply black Testors model paint, black of course with tiny brush, problem solved

Hi Andrew, I'm sorry to hear of the paint coming off of your club. Please take it back to your shop and have them set up a Warranty to have it repainted. It will take about 4-5 days in house.

Andrew - do you really want to be without your 6 iron for a couple of weeks just to get some paintfill? It's spring, I wouldn't. Search the discussions as there was one discussing the different methods members use to paintfill. You can try one of the ones discussed or take to your local club repair shop and have them do it. Can't imagine they would charge much.

Nail Polish! Works great, just fill in the number and let dry then take some remover on a paper towel and wipe of excess. Done- go play
  9. I agree with JReeter. I have used testors on all of my clubs and have never had an issue.
