Just ordered my first set of Titleist irons

    I've tinkered with a couple of used sets years ago but I've never bought a new set. I have an order in for the AP1 in the smoke finish and I can't wait to get them. I'm slowly transitioning to an all Titleist bag.... just have my woods left to swap out. Really hoping the smoke finish is fairly durable.

    The 716 AP1s are a great choice in clubs. I have been playing them since their release. The smoke release is a beautiful club and glad you made the leap. I feel you will be very pleased with your choice.

    I placed a custom order for the AP1 Smoke Irons at the nearby Golf Galaxy two days after the announcement and I was sent the regular AP1 standard finish one week later. Golf Galaxy contacted Titleist and they said it would take 2-3 weeks. I hope my order is filled ? Thanks

    It is my understanding that the first fun of 500 sold out the first day and that there was an one additional limited edition run. This club far exceeded all expectations.
