Has anyone hit the new C16, have been reading about them. They appear very interesting but then I saw the price per club which is VERY expensive. Looking for some feedback. The results of these iron would have to be phenomenal compared to other clubs to justify the difference in cost. Would appreciated hearing from you

The C16 irons are a fantastic club. The launch is pretty unbelievable. I have hit them quite a bit and while I wouldn't put a complete set in play, I would put the 4 iron in the bag.

They are long and the launch is high, so much better than any other iron I have hit. If you have the cash, they would definitely improve your game!

    Hey Joseph,

Last year I got a fitting at Manchester Lane for the 716s, 816s and SM6. While i was there, i ask to try the C16 irons... Let me tell you, hands down the smoothest irons i have every hit.... The trackman numbers were better compare to the 716s... But just couldn't do it, wasn't in my budget...

If i had the money, would've bought them right there.. They're the real deal...

Talked with one of the Titleist Product Specialist in the Hilton Head/Charleston/Myrtle Beach area yesterday about the C16s. A close friend and golfing buddy is considering going with PXG irons and has a two hour fitting set up the first week of may with the local Titleist certified fitter in Mt Pleasant, SC. He called me the other day to ask about the C16s. So I did have some questions of the Titleist fitter, whom I had gone to and work with at events. I asked him to compare the two clubs. He did say the the PXG clubs were good irons but they did not impress him when he struck the ball. Not every shot was pure. Not only is he a fitter but he also does instruction along the coast of South and North Carolina and Georgia. He said that he had played the C16s in a tournament and that the WOW factor exists with these clubs and that the accuracy and feel is definitely there. He also emphasized that these irons are very long off the face. He said he was shocked at the distance when he played them. This is exactly what my friend is looking for and with his game he should do well with them, as a single digit handicapper. He will be checking out both irons but my money is on him getting the C16s. He like the Titleist name and he has changed clubs every cycle and luckily he saw that they were making another run on this club. I can't wait to see his new C16s when they roll in. As to my intentions, my 716 AP1s are getting accustomed to me, finally, and we are starting to make a good pair.
  6. Hit them today at the Del Mar demo day. They are awesome clubs, easiest thing to hit out there... with very high launch angles.

If you have a spare $2,700 and want the best game improvement club around, get yourself a set... if the 2017 allotment isn't sold out already.
  7. Been demo'ng the c16 at some Titleist Thursdays and they are phenomenal. I want to test with a few other shafts but the stock KK is a great pairing. I like the feel/sound of these and the launch and ball height are what I expect and want.
