I bought the AP2 with AMT shafts, and I absolutely love them. I have consistent apexes and ball flight is amazing with my longer irons, which is what I was most concerned about when coming from a GI category iron (TM Burner 2.0) to a forged players iron.

I've also heard people who hate the AMT shafts, so it's definitely a personal preference. If you are able to demo the clubs on course, I would definitely recommend because you will probably make a better decision on what works best for you over just hitting on a simulator.

You will more easily get the ball in the air on your long irons with AMT...thats all I felt in the difference which was important to me.

I had S300 in my AP-2 714. When i was fitted i went to the AMT's love them, the long irons really get the ball launched. I have no complaints.
