  1. Hi, Have been playing Titleist CB712s and cally Apex Pros the last several seasons. Prefer the feel of my CB 712s and am looking at purchasing the new CB 716s. I noticed the CB 716s have added tungsten. Will the CB 716s still feel as "soft" or pure as the CB716s or do you lose the feel and forged sound by adding tungsten. I do not like how the AP1 or AP2 sound or feel as compared to CB 712. What is the biggest difference overall between the 2 models?

When I got my 716 CB, I went through testing and fitting, it was between the 716 AP2, CB 714, and the 716 CB. My choice judging by its feel were in that same order, respectively. The 716 CB feels like a hot knife on butter soft and sounds solid at impact on a well struck ball. The looks, I think the CB has a much cleaner look and I liked it much better out of the three.

I would urge you to try them out. Titleist Thursdays are a great way to give them a try and get fitted at the same time which are at no charge. After your fitting, you can compare what you currently have to what you've been fitted for. I could almost guarantee that you'll instantly like the new 716 CB.
  3. They feel very close to mb, so they are veeery soft
