Not titleist irons but I had the recoil 95 F4's in a set of JPX900Forged and had them replaced. I like my clubs to swing weight progressively from D2-D5. With the recoils they were at C8 and were way to light for me. I went with graphite because I suffered from some tennis elbow last season. Off-season work has done wonder for the elbow. Irons are being reshafted with my normal steel shaft.

I currently play Recoil 95 F4s in my AP2s and love it. I feel the head more throughout the swing because of the weight of the shaft. If you get a chance to see a certified Titleist Fitter I would do it and try the Recoils in whatever head you're looking at getting.
  4. I play the Recoil 95 F4s in the T-MB heads, full set. The feedback is awesome. I can work the ball either way. Flight tends to be penetrating, especially in the wind. It launches higher, but comes down softly. I tried the Prototype, but for the additional cost I didn't find the difference to be that much. Hit regular Recoils a but longer than the Proto, but I liked the numbers, feel, and result better with the regular.

    Enjoy!

Just to add, my normal irons swingweight from D2-D4.5. With the Recoils SW on the 6i was C8. Now, my club order them and I didn't specify (my fault) what swingwights I wanted. I will next time.
