  1. I sure there isn't much of a difference but are the CB's way more forgiving in the long irons then the MB's or is there not much of a difference? if you tried them both and compared please answer!

I tested them both when I went for a fitting last year. In my experience, I did not find any noticeable difference between them in terms of "forgiveness". In fact, my experience was that the 716 MB's felt better than the CB's ... particularly with more pure strikes.

I would suggest that if you like the look and appearance of the MB's that you consider testing the 716 T-MB's ... great looks at address and more added forgiveness built in because of its design and construction. Not forged like the MB's or CB's, but a nice club nonetheless!
  3. Thanks for the response, I am a 0 handicap and play college golf, I'm getting fitted next week for ether the cb's or mb's but they don't have ether to try in the long irons so I wanted to ask, I don't feel like getting a blended set so I wanted to see if there was much of a difference.

I agree with Dino, I have a set of both and the cb's are great clubs but I don't see a major difference that is comparable between the long irons of both sets. You will still need adequate club head speed to hit both. I do wish the mb's had the 2 iron option like the cb's do!

The CB is much easier to hit in the longer irons. I keep my 5 & 6 irons as CB and 7-W are MBs.

I've only hit the CB in the 6 indoors. I own 4-P in the MB and the T-MB. Mixing the MB vs T-MB is difficult even with the MB bent strong but I would still try the T-MB if possible unless your 100% against a mixed bag. As far as CB vs MB, I hit the 6 with a higher launch but I don't remember how much.
  8. I play cb. There is a difference in forgiveness to mb
