I plan on going to a Titleist Thursday soon, but I'm still confused where to start. I'm a 15 year old and I play in the mid 80s. I'm looking for some new irons this year. I want something that I will be able to work eventually. I also want a good level of forgiveness for those days that things just don't seem to go my way. I have looked at AP1, AP2, and am interested to try CB. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks! Megan Also, sorry I know this question has been asked a million times.

I would think you want the Ap2 or CB's but your fitter should be of most help.
  3. Good choice on the fitting. I agree with Todd. I would go for the AP2 or CB if you want a club you can eventually work. I think you'll find both of those clubs will give you what you're looking for.

AP1's are more forgiving, but the real key is what shaft in conjunction with the club heads your fitter feels fits you best. That's one of the main reasons to get fitted it's more than just a club head.

Good luck getting into the right clubs for your game. I got AP1's last year but heading to a Titleist Thursday fitting in June to make sure nothing has changed

You're on the right track going to the Titleist Thursday event. They will take good care of you and get you in some irons you will love!
  6. I personally would go with AP2. I am 16, and know how it goes when you aren't striking your irons. However, I do like working the ball and find it simple to do with these. I love my AP2! They are great for me. Hope you love the irons you end up with!
