Yes tell the repair guy to save the ProForce V2 shaft for you! From my experience in building clubs, the shaft is one of the most important things to have and if you have one that works well with your swing never let it leave your sight. Try something different in your current head but maybe also try your current shaft in an updated model head. The new technology in the 917 heads along with a properly fitted shaft which it seems that you like the ProForce V2 shaft might be the club you have been looking for. Also do not think that a current ProForce V2 shaft will react with your swing the way yours does because they are always making tweaks to the shafts as well. Hope this helps and good luck!

Forget getting a new shaft. You really need a new driver 907 909 910 913 915 917 series. You're 6 generations behind now. It will be well worth it.
