I play this shaft in my 917 10.5 head, stiff 60g and absolutely love the flight, medium and the smooth feel.

I originally bought the driver with the Diamana blue stiff shaft but due to a little swing change a couple months later I really struggled with that shaft. I used the rogue black in my 816 hybrid and liked the flight so purchased a driver and 3 wood shaft from Theonlinegolfshop.co.uk and today I just placed an order to replace my 5 wood shaft.

Why not ask the fitter to put your own shaft into the 917 head when you get fitted.
