Best Grips for Rain?

    Anyone have any suggestions on sticky/tacky grips? I have the Titleist M580s but I was looking for suggestions on something with a little more stick to it.

    Years back, wrapped Lamkin leather grips were the tackiest grips and longest wearing i ever used in all weather conditions. They felt great too. But due to rising cost, $20.00 per grip, I had to change to another grip.Palmer and Nicklaus used leather in their prime years.

    I play GolfPride MC +4 Midsize grips in all kinds of weather successfully. I live in the lowcountry of South Carolina and the humidity has the same effect. Keep them clean and they last longer than most grips.

    As Noel so noted, The FootJoy RainGrip gloves help also. Of course I am not an advocate of two gloves and only wear one effectively.

    How about using a "Gorilla towel?" You use it to wipe your grips and it gives the grips a tacky feel. YOu can control the amount of tacky feel you want. I use it lightly.

    I've used the Golf Pride Tour Wrap for many years. It's as tacky as leather, holds up well and doesn't tear the leather of my golf gloves. Having said that, if you are looking for better grip in rain, cord grips with the FJ Rain Gloves is the best.

    The Tackiest grips I've found, closest to leather, Golfpride Tour Wrap. I ordered my AP2's with them, wedges with them and 917. Everything has those, and like Noel said if you have to play in the pouring slop, the FootJoy rain gloves can't be beat.

    I've been using the full cord grip and the rain gloves and have had zero issues.

    A full cord grip should do the trick. I really like the lamkin.
