Going from a 915D3 9.5 to a 917D3

    I do pretty well with the 915D3 9.5 but I'm thinking about upgrading to the 917. I've heard if you normally play a 9.5 that you would be better off in an 8.5 917. Is that true?

    Actually, I have heard you move up in loft, maybe a 10.5. Maybe Cathi or Chris want to chime in on this one.......I would recommend going to a fitter.

    I actually went up from 9.5 to a 10.5 in my 917D2. Best to get fit if your spending that kind of money and want the best results. Good Luck.

    Hi Michael, We would recommend that you try the same loft to start- there is no pattern to moving up or down in loft.
