  1. I just got a set of AP3s. Love them so far but looking to fight them a little lower. I know they are not forged but I am able to bend them 2 or 3 degrees?

  2. You are. I had an AP3 5-iron bent 2 degrees weak to fit into a mixed bag, and I know stronger is an option.
  3. Those AP3s are already pretty darn strong. I would recommend different shafts.

Hi Zack, We would recommend any bending be done by us and not an outside shop. We will only bend them 2 degrees. Sebastian is right, the AP3's are strong lofted. If you bend them 2 degrees, the 6 iron will be 26° and the PW will be 41°. The leading edge of the club will also be closer to the turf and you may be taking away bounce that you might need. We'd recommend meeting with your clubfitter to go over shaft options as well as bending.
  5. Thanks Cathi, would 2 degrees have a notciable impact on the bounce of the irons?

The change is one for one i.e. one degree decrease in loft equals one degree decrease in bounce

Joseph is right. If you tend to come in steeply, 2 degrees of bounce will be missed.
