718 AP2/AP3/combo?

    Which would you go for and why? I am hcp 10. Played the 716 AP2 for two seasons and really like them Had a few hits with the new AP2/AP3. Prefer looks and feel of AP2. Don't wanna rule AP3 out though if delivering on the course Was fit to 1/4" long, 2deg upright but played a set of AP's 716 with std length, 1deg upright and felt no difference. Fitting not available anymore

    What to do?

    I would start off first by saying definitely go with the specs that you were fit for. The difference may not be immediately noticeable but it will save you strokes over time. Now on to the AP2s/AP3s, my advice would be to go with the AP2s from PW down to whatever iron you feel completely comfortable with hitting and then go with AP3s. You may need to do a little loft adjusting to get the gaps correct. In my case I went with 4-PW AP2 and an AP3 3 iron that I use primarily off the tee and love the results. Hope this helps.
