Sounds like you are doing this yourself, so if you are, could you just install the shafts, then measure to your desired playing length and then just butt trim once they've set up?

I reshafted mine so can only get you a rough measurement... but if you have new shafts I would think installing them then butt trimming would be the safest way to get the correct playing length you are looking for.
