  1. Hosel Screw broke in half while adjusting the head at the driving range the other day. Researched some other threads and they mentioned a replacement screw should fix the problem. Any alternatives that could be found at a local hardware store? I've got a big tournament in 4 days! Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

For certain, you haven't cross-threaded the screw in the Sure-fit on the shaft? Being just short of the holiday and shipping dates being stretched, 4 days pretty much eliminates getting one shipped. A shop that has repair work may have something available. In the short term, the Titleist wrench does fit some other OEM driver adjustment screws. If you have a retail shop with a used club line, you could "trial" another Titleist driver, use the screw, order a new one, and then return the used driver after the tournament. I would hesitate going to a hardware store - no telling what the torque specs would be for a common grade screw and breaking that could damage your club.

Is the entire screw out of the hosel? There may be some excess parts at a golf retailer or pro shop that does club work like grips, etc. My experience has shown that mechanics of all disciplines save all kinds of odd parts "just in case". I know I have bins full of leftover project parts. Good luck

This is good to know if I ever run into the same issue!

My screw bent slightly and bc of that it hindered it from tightening down. Went to my big box golf store and they had screws and towels galore and took about an hour. Just enough time to play around in the store. All for about $20.
