  1. Dear Team Titleist,

I play titleist 716 AP1s (True Temper - stiff) - absolutely love them. I'm now thinking of updating my driver. Do you have any suggestions of what I should go and try out?

Titleist 917 F2 was my Driver “new “ this year. I am a mid handicap and found the driver to be long and forgiving. Did a Titleist Thursaday fitting and came away with some of my longest drives!

Titleist driver without a doubt!! Work with a fitter to see which head/shaft combo works the best for you. With all the shaft options and the adjustability of the 917s it is imperative to work with a fitter. Look for a Titleist Thursday event by you and set up a fitting session (free)...outdoors.

Definitely need to do a demo day and see if the 917D2 or D3 works best for you. Especially given the multiple lofts and shaft options. That said, the more you can fill your bag with Titleist equipment, the better.

,There will be a multiple response to find a fiitter or a Titleist Thursday. After getting your launch angle, back spin, side spin, and angle of attach, a good fitter can match you to the bets option for your bag.
  6. Cheers guys - solid advice. I've been reading about the 917 D2 and fancied it as an option. Will book in for a fitting!

I agree with Don O, get a fitting, you won't regret it. I was fitted for my 915 D2 and have been really happy with it for several years now. Good luck!
