I have hit a few different types of Titleist irons at my local Golf Galaxy recently. If anyone has suggestions for the best bang for your buck, I'd appreciate any suggestions. I have a faster swing speed, use stiff flex and like steel shafted irons.

    Warm Regards, Brian

    Thank you Team Titleist!

Do yourself a favor and hopefully you can find a place that host a Titleist Thursday.

It's a 45 minute session with a Titleist fitter and they'll let you know the best irons for your game... And did i mention it's free? :)

The best bang for the buck is to click on the “Find an Event” at the top of this page and look for a Titleist Thursday. No cost, superior Titleist golf fitter and all th clubs and shafts needed to find “your” best fit. My experience took an hour and there is no pressure to order. I then went to my local golf store and ordered .
    Enjoy the experience.

I concur with Speedy and Michael. "Find an Event". Let a Titleist golf fitter find the right shaft and club for you! Good luck.

Agree with my fellow TT members, see a Titleist fitter. Only way to ensure you are getting the correct clubs for your particular needs.

High handicapper here, so probably not the best person to listen to, though I typically don't struggle with my irons. I went from some Adams to Titleist 718 AP2 5-PW without a fitting (Probably not the best decision, but I'm a high handicap golfer anyways).

As a digger who doesn't struggle with distance, I really liked the fact that Ap2s were weaker in lofts than the ap1/ap3 and current Adams set. I also liked the thinner sole (my Adams were YUGE) due to my steeper swing. I can't speak to optimum shaft/loft/lie performance because I didn't go to a fitter, but I've been so impressed with my AP2s thus far. I'm getting about 20 yards more loft on my PW and they seem to fly much straighter than my Adams.

I thought I'd have to dial my distances back more due to the weaker lofts, but the higher ball flights have only resulted in about 5 yards of reduction in each iron.

If you can get fitted, then do it. I chose the Ap2 because I liked some of the attributes. Now, to get that handicap down...

Get Fit at a Titleist fitting event. You will notice a difference.
