  1. For the last 6 years I had been playing with a set of cally xHot Pros that my parents had given me for my 20th birthday, fresh off the shelf from Dicks Sporting Goods no less. For that time in my golfing career they were the perfect clubs to cut my teeth on, working my way through the teens and eventually down into the single digit handicaps. The problem with them thought was that as I was getting better they were getting worse for me and my developing game. The biggest issue was that they were unpredictable, sometimes I could hit a 7i 180yards other times 200yards. I was seeking consistency, feel, and ascetics. For the longest time I have always wanted a set of AP2s and was always envious of the guys at our club who had em. Well, now 26 and playing some of the best golf of my life I decided that it was time to invest in my game, so I got fit for 718 AP2s and boy oh boy what an UPGRADE !!!!! I paired the 718 head with a dynamic golf tour issue x100 shaft with Winn DriTac grips, and added .5inch through PW-4i. I could not be any happier with this purchase and the results. I went from a 9yard dispersion all the way down to 2yards. I have tremendous feel, workability, and consistent ball striking. I Love my new AP2s and I wanted to thank the great people at Titleist for making a superior product. You are the BEST !!!

  2. Exactly the same Andrew, to me they're the perfect balance between feel and forgiveness.

I got the AP1 718s custom fit last fall and I felt, and still feel, the exact same way. I had the AP1 712s off the shelf before that, which I loved as well, but no comparison to having custom fit titleist clubs. Congrats!

Congratulations on your upgrade, Andrew! It seems a wise choice, as they seem to be helping you play to your true potential.
