Yesterday at the local golf course I was playing with a friend and apparently left my 48 wedge on the edge of the 14th green. No one bothered to turn it in so I guess I'm out a wedge that I really liked. I never thought someone would keep a club that didn't belong to them. I'm meeting with Chris Speight at Regatta Bay this morning and maybe he can help.

Not a whole lot different than actually stealing a club or bag from outside a club house. Just more tempting when no one is around to see the dastardly deed being committed. You're at the whims of that person's ethics boundary. Keep checking, it may turn up in a couple of days. Short of being a member at a club, don't count on the local staff to call you if it gets turned in.

That Sucks. I would hope most people would be more honest and turn it in.
  4. It's always disappointing to hear when a club goes "missing." Would like to think most get returned.

I always enjoy handing clubs and headcover back to their owners, they are always grateful, and I enjoy the banter that goes with the exchange.

Unfortunately I had this happen during men's league this past summer with one of my vokey wedges. Hard to believe someone in a league would do this but it was never turned in. Hopefully yours gets returned!
