  1. Saw the tweet and email today on the announcement. The finish looks amazing and took two good looking irons and made them look even better. The price tag is pretty good too. Just changed my approach go bag setup this year

Best blackout looking iron ever made in the golfing industry hands down
  4. Man, those look amazing! If my 718 AP2 irons weren't a few months old I would be all over these.
  5. How do we pre-order?? Can't find it on the site!

  7. Contact a shop that sells titleist. Titleist doesnt sell clubs directly from their site.

Awesome. AP3's are coming my way for sure!
  9. Will you still be able to blend the two sets with the black finish?

Absolutely loving the black finish! Hoping they keep it around as an option for the next irons release as well.

    ...LOL
Will your car be repossessed if you do?
    Are you married?
If either question is yes, then probably yes.
  14. Those are so sexy.......I want.

I guess left handed players are crap outta luck. I would definitely buy these, since new irons were on my list anyway, but,,,,oh, I'm left handed. Come on Titleist you can do better than that.

why no left hand option for these clubs? How does Titleist expect to build brand loyalty by excluding a segment of their customers? Not right.
  17. The left market isn’t that big compared to the righties. It’s a cost thing more than an exclusion thing.

Even though I’m a righty and have a couple good playing buddies that are lefty so I know the frustration you guys have.
  18. Beautiful!
  19. Didn't someone post a request about 718s in black back in September ? Love that Titleist listens to their customers.

They look great but I wouldn’t spend $$$ on them
  21. Oh my, that is a sweet looking set of irons!

Love the look of these irons!!
Do we know which retailers will have them available?, and will we be able to pre-order them from those retailers?

I am optimistic that Titleist has found a way to reduce the effects of finish on the face wearing off.
  24. A couple shops informed me that pre-orders starts on 2/15. They also said Titleist is only making 1,000 sets of AP2 and 2,000 sets of AP3.

I have the TS2s with the HZRDUS SMOKE BLACK 60 shafts. My 818H1 also has a black shaft (TENSEI).

Now if I could only get the SM7s in a matte black shaft, I'd swap them out as well.

It's only money. Good thing I'm an old single guy.

My pro shop ordered my AP2’s this week. But I won’t get the clubs until March. Also through in some new Vokey wedges in the limited edition black out. Jet black finish with black shafts. Should be a sweet set up.
