  1. Let's say your life depends on hitting one great shot -- you get one swing and you have to hit a particular target that varies depending on the club and shot you're trying to hit (i.e., the target for a driver would be much bigger than the target for a sand wedge): Which club do you pull out of your bag?

I'd go with my 56* Vokey, which I've had for going on 14 years now. At this point it just feels like an extension of my arm, not a club. From, oh, 60 yards and in I always feel confident that I can get it pretty close to the pin, and especially greenside I feel like I always have a chance to knock it in.

In a tie for dead last are my driver and putter.

    What's you're most trusted club?

My Scotty 009, reliable and its never leaving the bag. The other 13 will get replaced over time due to wear or technology, but the 099 will be the same, except maybe a grip change !

    My T-MB 9 iron
  4. Would have to be my 54* SM7 sand wedge from about 110 yards as that gives me a nice full swing.
  5. My Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Putter!
  6. My Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Putter!
  7. 915 d3 driver! Close second, vokey 58 s grind wedge from 80-85 yds.
  8. If I had to go with any club in the bag it would be my 716 AP2 4 iron. Sounds crazy I know, but for some reason I have always been able to hit my 4 irons really well. When it comes to the 716 AP2, I have no doubt in my mind that I can perform any shot at any time with it!
  9. Not sure how many people have one in their bag, but my “life depends on it/go to club” would be my TM Burner 7 wood. Originally purchased it for the wife because she had issues getting the ball in the air, but went through a spell where I struggled with the hybrids. Decided to hit the 7 one day and it became a staple in the bag. Had a nearly 10 year spell where I couldn’t hit the driver at all and decided to hit the 7 off the tee. Obviously I lost some distance, but did I? 250 straight and another 150 right doesn’t help my game compared to 210-220 and straight. Now that the wife has started playing again, I’ve purchased a 915F 7 wood. Hoping the outcome is the same and it will stay in the bag.

With apologies to the Titleist community, it's an old TM 16.5 V-steel,with a YS7-x stiff shaft. I love the shape of the head. I can still cut it or draw it and still get a lot of distance out of it. It must be at least 18 years old. That said, the shaft is getting a burn mark but I'll play it until it breaks.
  11. From the first time I hit it the AP2 PW has been the club I enjoy hitting most
I lay up on Par 5’s so I can hit it rather than risk the trouble around the green
It feels like butter and it is the one club that I feel in full control when I play it

Presently, my AP2-716 9i. Don't know why. It just makes me feel confident standing over the ball. Followed closely by my 818H1 19* hybrid and my SM7 58.12 D grind wedge.

50* gap wedge. I hit it 80 yards with a 3/4 swing, the longest I'll make with any wedge in my hands. When I'm closer and need a bump and run, I seem to have better judgement with the gap wedge than any other club. I can generally land it where I want and it runs how I want it to without surprising me that it stops or runs way too far. I've never really kept records about it, but I'd bet I get up and down more with my gap wedge than any other club.

I hate to vote against Titleist, but my goto club is my Adams A7 3 hybrid. My wife bought it for me a decade ago, but it is just perfect for my eye at setup. Gives me great confidence on approach shots of 200 yards or more. But in reality, it's probably time for an upgrade. Any suggestions on a similar Titleist club?

I really like hitting my Titleist 818H2 hybrid. I've hit many solid shots with that club ever since I've had it. Somehow I can be playing poorly and if the distance calls for my hybrid. I have all the confidence in the world.

My AP3 9 iron for short shots and around the greens. 2016 Scotty Cameron Newport Putter.
  18. I would have to say 8 iron full swings about 145-150 it's always bang on for me. Also I use it a lot to bump and run so it's a really useful club.
