    playing on saturday and on the second hole hit my 6 iron call the ball lovely and the club snapped..... ive never had a club snap on me before but where this club has snapped surely is not normal??

    Looks like you had rust inside the shaft, that could be the reason.

    If you clean your grips like I do regularly with water be sure that you close the hole in the end of the grip with your thump.

    My best guess is also rust inside the shaft. I experienced this before with a steel shaft Bertha Warbird.
