  1. 917d2 purchased used at Dicks last year.

Playing in a scramble at PGA National last week. About our 5th hole hit a drive that sounded funny. Looked at the face has a dent center/heel on the midline.

I don't think I have a warranty claim. Is the driver still playable? Seems like the ball flight could get funky now.

Agree, purchased used and older model would not be covered by warranty. I personally would be too concerned to want to play it, as the driver is one of the most important clubs in the bag. Suggest you trade it back in and get what little you can to apply towards a new TS2 or TS3. Do a Titleist Thursday to get a proper fitting and take advantage of maximizing the results of this unfortunate incident. Sorry to hear but best of luck on your next one.

If you are really interested in keeping the club, I have sent my TS2 driver (friend was changing the settings when I first got it and dropped it on the cartpath crown-side down) and my TS2 5 wood (had a slight dent and scratch on the crown and I have no idea how it happened) to Continental Club repair in Raleigh (I live in Charlotte). They did excellent work and repaired the dents and repainted. I would look them up if you are so inclined.
