I need some recommendations on iron sets to get

    I need some recommendations for irons.  I play about twice a week and play to a 6 handicap.  I tend to more of a sweeper than a digger.  I also play a high fade.  I never draw the ball.  On my mishits I can have a huge banana slice.  Right now I am playing the 690 CB with Project X 6.0 shafts.  I am looking to upgrade from these irons that I have had for 8 years.  I am looking at either the MB 710 or the AP2.  I know that the AP2 are more forgiving but love the look of the MB's.   Also do any of you have recommendations as to the type of shaft you like.  I hit a 9 iron from 150 yards.   Thanks

    Only playing twice a week, I would not reccomend playing a muscle back. You might want to stick with the cavity back, as your room for error and mishits will be much worse with a mb.

    . If you only hit a 9 iron 150, i'm guessing you have a slower  to mid swing speed meaning a s300 shaft would suit you just fine.

    you know its all about getting fit for the right clubs you know. deffinetly take the time and get fitt for them.  i normaly play blades and i just recently purchesed a set of AP2's i got fitted for x100 shafts but thats couse of my swing speed. if your hitting the project x's good dont change.  but thats all based on what works for you and you'll deffinetly get a better idea of what to get during a good fitting. so best sugestion is get fitt and you'll know whats good for you then. sorry if this is alittle lacking in information im watching the ryder cup right now and Rory is crushing that new 910 driver.
