910 Release date

    Why did I get an email from golfsmith announcing the pre-order release date before getting more information from the Titleist or Team Titleist website?  When will our pro's in Ohio get a chance to fit their golfers?  It seems to be poor timing to bring out new equipment when the season is unfortunately coming to a winter's end.

    According to the golfsmith pre-order site the shafts available are the Diamana Ahi, LLi and Kai.  I assume they are the new name for the Diamana red, white and blue shafts.

    Any Titleist partner account can place an order for the new 910 driver now.  Golfsmith has just taken this opportunity to let their customers know about the driver.  The goal is to have the 910's at the pro shop or retailer on November 19th. 

    Advanced FittingWorks centers will have the fitting matrix available by today or tomorrow and our fitting accounts should have their matrix by the week of the 15th.

    The Diamana for Titleist Ilima, Kai'li and A'hina are the stock shafts for the D2 and the after market Aldila RIP and the TT Project X Tour issue shafts will be the stock shafts for the D3.  All are 'no upcharge' shafts and are interchangeable with both heads.  The 'llima, Kai'li, and A'hina are Mitsubishi's next generation shafts that fall under the same categories as the Diamana Red, Blue and White shafts, but are not the same shaft with a different paint scheme.  We would encourage you to try out the shafts at your local fitter first.  Give us a call and we can help you locate a Pro shop with the new matrix. 1-888-TITLEIST.
