I love the look and feel of the AP2 over my X22's and have been hitting them off of the mat this winter and don't notice a loss in forgiveness. I'm a 13 HC who is working hard to break into the single digits. Will the AP2 be a good fit?

Hi John,It sounds like you are on the right track by testing out the AP2s first and seeing how they perform for you. I've been gaming my AP2s for a few seasons now and I can't say enough good things about them. My suggestion would be to visit an authorized Titleist fitter to help you get a precision fit to find the right set up that will work best for your game. During the fitting you'll be able to try different models (AP1, AP2, etc.), different shafts, different shaft flexes and different lie angles to help you get dialed in for optimal performance out of your irons. You'll learn a lot about the different options and the whole fitting process is also a lot of fun. Here's a link to help you find a fitter: http://www.fittingworks.com/FindaFitter.aspx

Hi,
I play at a 15 and I replaced my X22's with the AP 2's in February and I have played some my best golf ever. I have the project X 5.0 shafts in them and are the best feeling irons I have ever hit. I would say get fit and get them you will not be sorry.

hi john,
i recently purchased a set of ap2's and i play to a 10 hdcp. just like you i am working to improve and lower my scores. the more i work with the irons the more forgiving and consistant they have become. if the ones you have been hitting off the mats this year are demos than i would say that you just need to get fit like i did, especailly before making an investment this large.
i hope this helped,
mark m.
Thanks guys.
