Question for Cathi

    Cathi,  I just want to say thanks for all you do in the Team Titleist discussions.  I have a quick question and hopefully you can answer it.  I currently own a whole set of Titleist 710 CB's from 3 iron - PW and recently purchased the 7 iron - PW in the 710 MB's and love the feel, look and trajectory the MB's provide.  I am interested in getting the 5 and 6 iron in the MB's.  Should I purchase the 5 and 6 iron or try and sell my 7 iron - PW in the MB's and order the complete 5 iron - PW in the MB's?

    Can I give them my serial number off the 7 iron and my dealer can order the same specs in the 5 and 6 iron?  I know this will be the least expensive way but I want to make sure that I have complete consistency from 5 - PW.

    Hi Ted,  Thanks for your feedback.  Team Titleist is a new initiative for us and we are constantly changing and adding.  Just let us know if there is more you would like to see. :)

     If you give your pro shop your serial number and swingweight (make sure he/she adds it to the order), we will be able to match both and your iron set should be consistent throughout.  That would probably be the least expensive and should work out just fine.

    Cathi,  thank you for the fast response.  I'm not sure about the swing weight because I ordered std loft, lies and length with the TTDG S-300 shafts.  Can I just let them to put down on the order the serial number off the 7 iron?

    If you have a local store that will swingweight your MB's or even one of them, you can use that swingweight to order the 5 and 6.  Your 7-PW should be swingweighted to within a 1/2 swingweight point so the swingweight from any of them should work.

    Cathi,  I did what you mentioned and my new 710 MB 5 iron and 6 iron arrived with the same serial number as my 7 iron - PW.  Thanks for the info.  Now if my new Devotion 6 shaft will get here I will be set for 2011.
