Custom fit AP2 710, 1inch longer, same swingweight?

    Hi,

    one quick question: bought a set of AP2 which were fitted with project x 5.0, 1inch longer and 3degree up. When done by Titleist, do you make sure that the swingweight remains D2 after these changes?

    If not, what swingweight do my clubs have now (1inch longer plus the additional material) and what does this mean to my swing?

    As a rule of thumb, for every 1/4" over length you add 1 swing weight.  I would bet your clubs are in and around the D6 mark.  Different shafts will obviously affect swing weight as well.  KBS is a good example.  The balance point is higher and results in lighter sweing weights than the Project X or Dynamic Gold. 

    Did you just go with the stock grips?  Were they built up? (1/64" over or more)?  This will affect final swing weight as well.
