  1. Would it be fair to the T100S have anymore forgiveness compared to the T100? An employee at the PGA store told me the T100S would be more forgiving due to its slightly different technology, but I haven't read or seen anywhere else claiming this. Between the muscle channel for face flex and slightly lower CG on the T100S compared to the T100, I suppose I could see where he made this claim. I'm curious if anyone has "felt" like there was any difference in forgiveness between the two.

I'm aware that the main intent of the muscle channel and lower CG is to help with ball speed and launch given they are 2 degrees stronger.

What exactly are the qualifications to be an employee at a PGA Superstore? I think you just have to have a clean criminal record. I believe you are spot-on. The "forgiveness" between these two clubs is not a factor. The launch performance is really the differentiator. You have to move up to the T200 to start talking about forgiveness versus performance. Suggest you reach out to an experienced certified Titleist fitter for detailed answers or do some on-line research from trusted sources. If you are planning on making a purchase and deciding between these two models, make sure they fit your game. Always good to get a fitting from a experienced source. Great that you asked the question here and did not assume they knew more than you did on the subject. Hopefully when you get ready to buy, you have what you need to get the clubs best suited for your game.
  3. According to Titleist during my virtual fitting, the “S” is slightly more forgiving because it has more tungsten perimeter weighting than the regular model.
  4. This information is good to know as I’m about to get fitted for new set of irons.

T100S is designed, not bent, 2 degrees stronger than the T100. That’s the only difference in the two.

I believe that was true about the original 2019 models but the new ones to have a few additional differences like the back channel and some tungsten weighting. Not enough to create forgiveness but enough to add height and spin to counteract the lower loft.

T100S has a polymer filled cut in the back cavity that allows the face to flex. In short more ball speed and higher launch . To compensate for the higher launch they are molded 2deg stronger. You will get more distance from the 100S.

T100 sets up and plays like a more forgiving MB on off center hits. 100S adds distance. At address they look identical. Waiting for my 100S set that replaces my 718 AP2
