I am currently playing the 909D2 with stock voo doo stiff shaft at 9.5 loft.  Love it!!!! I am striping the fairways and hitting it long.  Had this driver since its release i believe in 09. Thinking about getting fitted for a 910D2 at Golf Galaxy.  With the success I am having now should I even mess with a good thing, or should I make the switch.  Just a bit worried I might not get much better results as I am having now.  I live on a budget and its hard to justify $400.00.  What does everyone think?

    Dustin,

I was playing the same driver (except D3) and hitting it well.  got fitted by the Pros at TPI and gained 15 yards in still air. but the amazing change was their ability to tune the spin so that I gained up to 40 yards into the wind.  I've never seen any ball fly so well into the wind as my tee shot with this driver.  Take your 909 to the fitting and see the difference on the launch monitor. --Jerry

Take your 909 with you to golf galaxy and compare results on their simulator.  Also golf  galaxy should give you credit for your 909 on a trade.  If you go to the pga equipment site you should be able to find the trade value of your present c lub.

I currently am playing the same driver as you are,the 909D2 with voo doo stiff shaft with a 9.5 loft. I also have been thinking to update to a new 910. Unlike you I don't stripe the fairways,as I miss alot of fairways, but I do hit it farther and I love the feel. I am a 6 handicap, but I only get to play once a week and I live in Ohio.  Is updating and getting a new driver worth it for me also?

I'd go through a fitting process just to compare results.  I still have my trusty 905R in the backup bag and my gamer is a 909D3.

I'm not much of a tinkerer despite my Titleist Staff Professional gig!
