910 Metal Woods

    I have had the 910 D2 driver, the 910 F(15), 910F(19) and the Hybrid(21) for six weeks. They are an awesome addition to my AP2 irons, but I have one issue. After six weeks, the metal woods look like I have had them for six years. The finish on the face and sole is wearing off quite rapidly. They are the best hitting set of woods I have ever owned in my 54 years of playing golf, but I am extremely disappointed in their appearance, especially after such a short time.

    i have had the same issues as weel and was wondering if titleist does some kind of warranty service to fix them up.thanks

    Ya, making contact with the ground with your fairways will wear off some of the dark finish on the sole and bottom of face of your 910F metals.  It will wear much more if your playing on sand based courses.   But my two cents is I really don't care as long as I'm getting the performance out of the metals like I have been.  I also new before I purchased these that the finish would wear some.  This is all cosmetic which doesn't effect my shots and also means I'm playing some golf!

    I agree that these 910 metal woods great; and I agree that some wearing of the finish is expected, if I use them.

    I agree that it is only cosmetic and does not affect the performance; but the finish should not be showing such extreme wear in only six weeks.
