710 mb nippon ns pro 970 stiff hard step

    I am going to be ordering through the college program and I was just wondering if there is any possible way for me to get the 710 mb's 3-P with the nippon ns pro 970 stiff, but have them hard stepped once to make it more like the nippon ns pro 950gh stiff? I recently got professionally fit for the ns pro 950gh stiff, but I would rather go through the college program. Thanks.

    Hi Jordan,

    The tip section of the 970 is actually stiffer than the 950, the mid sections are similar, but the butt of the 950 is a little larger and stiffer.  Another difference is that the 970 is lower balanced to better swingweight in our heads.

    So would you say I would be fine to just get the 970's and not worry about hard stepping them at all?
