    Aloha.

I'm currently gaming a 910 D3 8.5* at standard A1 setting, but am considering upgrading to a newer head to possibly take advantage of update tech in the face, etc. Shaft will stay a Graffaloy Blue 65-X.

I've never played a 460 head, so like traditional pears and 440ish heads.

My question is at what model did Titleist have real tech added to the drivers after the 910 series?

I feel like the TS line is where I may want to begin looking, but wanted insights from the TT community.

    910, 913, 915, 917, TS, TSi, TSR, GT.
All use same hosel for interchangeable shafts.

The TS… series added a military titanium face. The GT series added a carbon fiber top to the military titanium. The shaft may or may not be optimal for you with the new technology, but you can easily try it.
  3. I have played the titleist 917 D3 driver, 8.5 since it first came out. Like you I prefer the smaller size, can hit it off the deck if need be. I did try the titleist TSr4 smaller head driver. But, it is a low spin driver and being older I need more spin to get more distance. I did buy a used titleist TSr2 , 9.0 and use that sometimes, but still prefer the 917 D3.

The TSR line-up is pretty special.
