So If you read my previous post, I have been trying different shafts with my GT2 driver and had recently played a couple rounds with a Ventus Red 6x Velocore and really liked it. In fact I felt like the search was over. Well yesterday I got a surprise in the mail from my best friend who sent me a black Ventus 6 TX Velocore and I had the opportunity to go to the range yesterday. All I can say is WOW!!! I thought the Ventus Red was great but the Black is just that much better for my swing. Beautiful ball flight and tight dispersion. The shaft felt smooth and the ball was just jumping off the driver face. Again, I am amazed at how much difference the shaft makes. I highly recommend a driver fitting as this has been quite the lengthy journey. I have enjoyed the process but it could get quite costly to keep trying random shafts without actually hitting them and seeing some data. It's a bit of blind process because what I may love, the next person may hate. As for the driver, I think the GT2 is the best driver I have ever had in the bag. It is incredibly easy to hit and when you do hit the sweet spot that ball really jumps. You just have to find the correct shaft for it that fits your swing and game.
