  1. When will titleist come out with new irons. I got AP2’s and not sure if I should upgrade now or later.

    2 year cycles. This is the year the driver/fairways are released so that would put the next generation of irons in 2027.

    The 3rd generation T series came out in Spring 2025. By normal convention, the next release will be Spring 2027. Apparently new woods are coming out this Spring.

    The AP2's are great but dated. I have the 2023 T-150s, I tested the newest generation of them and the T-100s the other day. Cant say I noticed any difference minus the finish but even that was hardly a difference. Basically, I would recommend just going for the new irons don't have FOMO. I just ordered a new driver 2 days ago even though new woods are coming out, the difference will be miniscule.

    Myself , I came from using the 718 AP2 since 2018 that I absolutely love due to the feedback that get from hitting them and I was fitted to the T250 Launch Spec today .

    Current 718 AP2 were 5-PW and 3 Vokey SM10 with the True Temper AMT red regular shafts in all my clubs . The new set up will be as follows;
    T250 Launch Spec 6 - PW with the Mitsubishi MMT AMC red regular graphite shafts and although I still have my current SM10 Vokey, I may myself the new SM11 with the following set up / specs
    - SM11 52 degree Gap Wedge F Grind / 8 degree of bounce
    - SM11 56 degree Sand Wedge S Grind / 10 degree of bounce
    - SM11 60 degree Lob Wedge M Grind / 8 degree of bounce
    And I’ll also have Titleist install the Mitsubishi graphite shafts in them as well .

    New irons will be here in roughly 2-3 weeks

    If you are looking and are definitely gonna get new one there is no reason to wait. The newest ones just came out, and they wont come out with another version until 2027 and things will only get more expensive.
