I went to local shop and tried the 910 D3 with stiff shafts from Aldila, Mitsubishi and Project X-7C3 6.0.  I had the best and consistant results with the Project X-7C3 6.0 stiff.

I think this is the shaft for me but would like some back up.  My swing speed is between 100-105 and is a smooth progressive swing.  I don't think I am aggressive enough or have the mustard to load the Aldila RIP 60 and Mitsubishi with lower torque which gave me a consistant left hook.  The X-7C3 6.0 stiff flex was consistantly straight to 5yd fade and felt great at A1 setting.

Question:  At present swing speed of 100-105 mph and 240 to 265 yd drives or if I can increase to 108mph is there any reason to look at the project X in 7.0 flex or should I stay with 6.0 stock shaft?

    Ben,

At your current swing speed, the Project x-7C3 (6.0) flex is probably your best option. There is a 6.5 flex, but based on your swing speed probably not the best option.  As for the 7.0 flex, let's leave that one for the tour players and young guns.  Just FYI, I have a swingspeed of 112 mph with driver and play the Project x-7C3 (6.0) and it's not to soft for my swing.

    Gator,

Thank you, your answer was very helpful and what I was looking for.
